BBQ Broccoli

Another Ryan specialty. Even people who hate broccoli will drool over it when prepared this way. Crisp and salty, we never get sick of it.

  • broccoli florets
  • olive oil
  • seasoning salt
  • fresh cracked pepper

Lightly toss the broccoli florets in oil. They only need a small drizzle or else they get greasy. Sprinkle lightly with seasoning salt. Liberally grind a lot of pepper over them.

On a hot BBQ lay the florets directly on the grill. Let them get a few black grill lines and then turn them over, approx 2 minutes each side.

DO NOT overcook them! There is nothing more disgusting than well done broccoli and usually it's the reason people think they hate the poor veggie. The florets should still have a lot of snap in them when you bite them.

Great with any BBQ meat.
