Pork Tenderloin with Apple Jelly Sauce

Pork tenderloin is so yummy and it has almost no fat on it! I like to marinate mine and grill it or raost it in the oven. The glaze that comes with this recipe is heaven with pork.

Marinade

  • 3 tbsp sherry
  • 3 tbsp soy sauce
  • 3 tbsp apple juice
  • 1/4 tsp dry mustard
  • 1 clove garlic, smashed
  • 2 tsp ginger, grated
  • pork tenderloin

Sauce

  • 1/4 cup apple jelly
  • 2 tsp sherry
  • 2 tsp soy sauce

Combine marinade ingredients in a ziploc bag. Add the pork tenderloin, squeeze out all of the air to insure maximum marinade contact and set in the refridgerater for at least 3 hours.

Preheat oven to 325F. Place pork tenderloin and marinade in a shallow baking dish. Bake for 25 minutes per pound. A thermometer must read 160F for the internal temp.

Combine sauce ingredients in a small saucepan and heat until thick, sticky and gooey.

Remove tenderloin and allow to sit for 5 minutes. Slice thinly and serve topped with a drizzle of the sauce.
