Simple Broccoli and Cauliflower Casserole

This recipe is definitely not brain surgery but it's tasty and people like it. I make this when I am roasting turkey or chicken because it goes in the oven at the same temperature as the bird. It takes seconds to assemble and if you make it in a disposable aluminum pan it's one less thing to worry about when company comes for dinner.

  • 1 head cauliflower
  • 1 head broccoli
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • cheddar cheese

Cut broccoli and cauliflower into florets. In a bowl mix sour cream and mushroom soup together. Add the florets and toss until everything is coated. Dump into a disposable aluminum pan and cover with shredded cheddar.

Bake uncovered at 350F for approx 30 minutes (I like my broccoli still firm in the centre so this is really a matter of preference. You may want to leave it in longer)

That's it! About as easy as a recipe gets and still delicious.
